eBay crooks? |
How one friend was deceived on ebay
First the
seller shipped old, nasty looking specimens instead of ones that looked
like the photo. Then my friend left feedback describing what he received. The
seller left follow up feedback lying that the "damage" was not
his fault, it was caused in
shipping! So my friend replied (follow up feedback) that it was not shipping damage. The
seller then emailed my friend trying to bribe him! If my friend would remove the negative
(but completely truthful) feedback the seller would send healthy cactus.
What the? First the seller cheated him, then lied in his feedback
response to cover his ass, then offers a bribe to cover up what he had
done. But
if the feedback was removed how would future ebay members know that the
seller was deceptive? My friend decided that this cheating, lying,
bribing seller needs to stop being an ebay crook. |

What you see may not be what you get! |
| The grower showed the picture
at left on eBay and then shipped the nasty looking specimen shown below. |

|
(Below) This is a low quality, unhealthy specimen. Its skinny tip (above,
right) is caused by the plant trying to grow in response to light but
having inadequate roots to provide nourishment. |
