Trichocereus Peruvianus Peruvian Torch
12-14G - 25" seed grown San Pedro
13.5 lbs.
$74.95 + shipping

The white stuff is bird poop. This plant was seed grown - has short spines of a San Pedro. It is among the only authentic San Pedro I've raised from Peruvian seed. Most seed claiming to be Trichocereus Pachanoi has turned out to be Peruvian Torch. This is destined to be a great specimen. Repot to 6-10 gallon container for good growth in 2012

No bare root plants!
All my cactus ship in their container with all soil. You receive a healthy specimen; all you have to do is unpack, water it and provide a loving home.

Bare rooting kills the delicate roots, dries & shrivels them up
requiring months to nurse back to health before they grow again. I will never do that to mine. Just because "Everyone else bare roots" doesn't mean I do it. Now you know.
How do you pack a cactus?
You can really ship it in the pot with all the soil?
How do you do that?

Transplant to a larger container
for continued good growth. You may harvest tips for propagation (best to do in spring), and/or transplant to a larger pot.

"Own a piece of the legend"

All my San Pedro, many KK242, some Peruvian Torch, and all of my Bridgesii (that I didn't grow myself from seed) came from the legendary Cactus Kate nursery. Her San Pedro were brought by a botanist to California from Peru in the 1960s. That particularly authentic strain has been propagated by cuttings for 50 years.
