Peruvianus v. "fastest" (what is that?)

Cutting rooted in 2011.
Repot to 6 -10 gallon container for good growth in 2012
Looks like a San Pedro, doesn't it? This is a fascinating Peruvianus variety that I sell in limited numbers each year.

The story about the Peruvianus "fastest"
(as I named it) variety is explained here on this website. It is a very fat, fast growing variety I believe it is a Peruvianus.
Typical appearance of the Peruvianus "fastest". More...

It is like a KK242 but with short spines reminiscent of a San Pedro. Spine length is related to light intensity so these have very short spines while rooting in the shady rooting house. In full sun mine exhibit longer spines -about an inch on the "sunny side" of the plant.

The fatness and fast vertical growth make this one of my most prolific to multiply. Demand is so high that I am not able to supply more than a few each year.

Going out on a limb, so to speak, I'd say this (fastest) is to Peruvianus what "Butcher's Big Boy" (AKA Juul's Giant) is to San Pedro. That remark will surely earn me the scorn of many armchair experts. What do I know? I've only been growing San Pedro cactus since 1987.

My stuff is the real deal.
