FORM REPLY TO CUSTOMERS WHO OBSESS |

Some customers obsess over their San Pedro as if it was a statue
that will forever be exactly the same.

Suppose you purchased a bare root
fruit tree seedling and it broke a branch, or had a scratch on
the stem. Would it matter? It is just a small version of the
giant thing it will grow up to become.

But some person who only sees the defect might take it back to
Lowes
or
Home Depot because the tip
of one branch broke off.

Some customers don't understand that
their little cutting (even a 24" San Pedro is small to me!) will grow into a 12-14 foot high cluster of
thick columns weighing tons.

Spots on the tip? Don't obsess on them. If you do you can drive
yourself crazy. Suddenly your plant is a science experiment that
has to be cured of defects? Think that through. What does my
website, and the literature sent with the plant advise?

•
I advise repotting in a larger pot with fresh soil. It needs
drainage so the roots don't rot.
•
I advise pure, distilled water. Let the soil dry, then water
thoroughly and again wait until the soil is dry.
•
I advise full morning sun, afternoon shade. Fresh air, room to
grow.

In other words you first have to provide healthy conditions for
any cactus to grow. The plant is part of nature, not a science
lab rat. If you can't grow other cacti, just regular old ones
from Lowes or Home Depot then please don't torture a San Pedro
like it was a guinea pig. You either understand how to care for
houseplants...or you don't.

Spots on the tip?
Don't obsess on your plant. Give your plant lots of
fresh healthy soil. Distilled water, full morning sun
with afternoon shade. Love your plant, but don't kill it
with kindness by smothering it. I kiss my plants and
tell them how beautiful they are...I love them! |

Listen to "Don't Worry Baby" and mellow out.... |

Living plants are not produced on an assembly line; each has as
many defects & blemishes as your girlfriend/boyfriend/or
whatever. (I once had a girlfriend with pimples on her ass but
otherwise she was great!)

City people stare at their plant's defect to the point of
obsession. There is no cure for that form of mental illness
--which is why I buy back at 100% any plant with which you are
not happy. Humanoids in their terrarium like apartments believe
that nature is inherently diseased, that all bugs are evil and
must be treated with chemicals. There is no cure for the belief
that nature is a disease that must be fought off with man made
chemicals.

San Pedro has grown for millions of years before humans invented
insecticides, fungicides, or put little cuttings in pots to
obsess over every cosmetic imperfection. The real imperfection
is the human mind divorced from nature. There is no cure for
that; thus Planet Earth has activated every fiber of its immune
system - from extreme climate change to new viruses in its
effort to eliminate excess humans from the planet. |

After I refund 100% of your money you can buy a cosmetically
perfect specimen from a dealer in ceramic, silk, or plastic
plants. Then your mind will be at peace forever.

"Well its
been building up inside of me
For oh I don't know how long
I don't know why
But I keep thinking
Something's bound to go wrong
But she looks in my eyes
And makes me realize
And she says "don't worry baby"
Don't worry baby
Don't worry baby
Everything will turn out alright"
